According to iPhoto, we started this whole bedroom shuffle/ office creation almost exactly a year ago.
I'm guessing that that makes this one of the longest room re-do's ever that didn't involve some kind of demolition.
But it's done.
So, whatever.
Here are the before pictures from when the office was Captain's bedroom.

And here's one reason that we wanted the work table to fold up... Our families don't live nearby, and our house is 3 bedrooms, so this room is our only option for a "guest room", so when we have family come stay with us, the table folds up, and the air mattress goes up.
It turned out better than I hoped.

I'm so glad I found this! You did a great job with your craft table/cabinet thing...I've been wanting to that as well but wondered how functional it was for any storage as well and you proved it is! I love the option for a guest bed when needed too.
